Moga (mogadesign.org) is free to use for animating your designs and photos, with a paid Commercial Version and scenes we build on request. This page says what we keep about you, where it lives and how to delete it.
Your media is never sent to anyone, and never to AI.
The images, videos and exports you make in Moga stay on your device. We don't upload them, share them with anyone, or use them with AI, including to train AI models. Moga has no AI features that see your media. The only file of yours that reaches us is one you choose to send with a scene request (see Scene requests).
In short: your photos, videos and exports stay on your device: we never upload or back them up. We keep only what an account needs (your email, name and, if you upload one, a profile photo), the settings of the scenes you save, your scene requests and what you've bought. We count how Moga is used, never what's in your media (see How Moga is used). No ads, no tracking across other sites, and we never sell your data.
Your photos and videos
The images and videos you add are kept only in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on this device, and every export is rendered on your own device. We never upload, store or back up your images, videos or exports, never share them with anyone, and never use them with AI (no AI processing, no training AI models on them), and a saved scene or share link carries only its settings, never your media. This also means we can't recover them: clearing your browser data, using a private window or switching to another browser or device leaves them behind, so keep your own copies. Each export carries a one-line license note in its metadata (Personal, a Commercial Version license key, or your Moga Priority scene's name and order number), never your name or email.
Your account
You can open and edit in Moga without an account; exporting needs one (it's free). If you sign in, we keep:
- Your email address and, if you set one, a display name, to sign you in.
- A profile photo, only if you upload one: a small square copy (256 pixels), shown as your avatar and visible to anyone who has its link. Upload another to replace it. It is deleted with your account.
- A password, only if you choose one. It is stored hashed by our sign-in provider and we never see it.
- Your saved scenes: each one's name and settings (scene, device, colors, timing and so on), so they appear on every device you sign in on. Not your images.
- The language you use Moga in, so the emails we send you about a request are in it.
- Whether you want news from Moga by email, only if you tick it, and when you last changed it.
Scene requests
When you request a scene we keep what you send: its kind (a video, a storyboard or an idea), the link or the file you attach (a video, an image or a PDF, up to 50 MB), your notes, and which way it comes in (Personal, Commercial or Moga Priority, with its order number and whether you chose Keep it yours alone). As we work on it we add its status, our reply and its dates, and, for a Moga Priority request, the scene we build for you (its settings, which only your account can open).
A file you attach is stored privately: only you and we can see it, and we use it only to build your scene. We may use AI tools to study it while we build, never to train AI models, and never for anything else. It is deleted when you withdraw the request (while we haven't started on it) or delete your account; until then we keep it with the request, in case you ask for changes later.
We email you when a request is taken on, ready or declined. Sign-in links and password resets come by email too. News about Moga (new scenes and features, now and then) comes only if you tick it, when you sign in or in Account, and stops when you untick it there. We send nothing else for marketing.
Purchases
The Commercial Version and Moga Priority are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which takes the payment: we never see your card. Lemon Squeezy tells us about each order, with the name and email you gave it; we keep only the order number and what was bought, with your account, with the Commercial Version's license key and whether it's active. A license stays on our records if you delete your account (no longer linked to you), so the files you exported under it still verify: anyone with a key can check on our verify page whether it is active and since when.
Sign in with Google
If you continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them only to create your account, sign you in and show your picture as your avatar until you pick another. We don't ask for access to anything else in your Google account, and we don't share this data with anyone or use it for ads.
Moga's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Feedback
When you send feedback we keep your name, email, message and some technical details (the scene open, your browser and screen size) so we can follow up and fix things. To block spam we use your IP address, but never keep it: only a scrambled code made from it, which can't be traced back to it and changes every day.
How Moga is used
To know how many people use Moga and what they make, we count three things, with no cookies and nothing from your media:
- Opening Moga, once a day per browser, without your account: the language, whether it's a phone, a tablet or a computer, and the site you came from (just its name, or a campaign tag in the link).
- Pressing Export while signed out, without your account: the scene and the format.
- Each export, with your account: the scene, the format, resolution and frame rate, and which license it carries.
These counts hold no IP address and are seen only by us. If you delete your account, its counts stay, no longer linked to you.
Stored in your browser
Moga keeps your preferences (theme, language, layout), your scenes and your media in your browser's local storage, and the day it last counted this browser (see How Moga is used). They stay on your device and you can clear them any time from your browser settings. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who runs it for us
- Supabase stores accounts, saved scenes, profile photos, scene requests and their files, licenses and the counts of how Moga is used, and sends sign-in emails.
- Netlify hosts the site and stores feedback. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived server logs.
- Lemon Squeezy takes payments, as the merchant of record, and keeps its own record of each order.
- Resend sends the emails about your scene requests: it gets your email address and the message.
- Google provides Google sign-in and the web fonts (Google Fonts), which your browser loads from Google's servers.
They handle data only to run these services for us.
Deleting your data
Delete your account any time: open Account in the editor and choose Delete account. Your account, your profile photo, every scene saved to it, and your scene requests with their files are removed right away. Licenses and the counts of how Moga is used stay, no longer linked to you (see Purchases), and Lemon Squeezy keeps its own order records as the law requires. To have your feedback removed, email tanphat15122000@gmail.com.
Children
Moga is not meant for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update it here and change the date at the top.
